| This morning is our town's annual Corn & Apple Festival parade and the kds and I are walking in it again this year.
Last year, we walked with our taekwondo club, but this year, we're walking dogs with the Humaine Society.
Do you like parades? Have you ever been in one? | |

| how fun!!!! i walked in a parade twice i can remember. once i was a brownie andit was labor day or memorial day one. and then for halloween i was a mummer with my former youth group. now that was a blast.
loved when my kidlet was in the drumline in the parade. took lots of pix. | |

| I love parades too! I especially love the people that dress up as clowns just to make people laugh, how fun. I think I want to be a clown when I grow up!
Our local town has "Friendship Days" around the 4th of July. This year we walked/rode with our 4-H Club and the last two years I was a Girl Scout leader so I walked with our GS float. It's fun to be a part of but I miss watching it too!

| that sounds so neat! i love them, too. the only that is not for Halloween around here is the Arts Festival over Memorial Day weekend and I always miss it b/c we go to my sister's that weekend.
A Corn and Apple festival sounds so delicious. And that means fall is right around the corner...yeah! | |

| I LOVE parades! I haven't been to one in so long. I was in some as a child but I still love to watch them. In the town where we used to live, they always had an annual Christmas parade! It was so fun....take our hot chocolate and watch everything go by....miss those! | |

| We have several parades here. The biggest one is on the 4th of July, but it seems we have parades for everything! | |

|  parades make me happy! when i was in middle school i was in our town festival parade - i marched in the band. i like WATCHING parades much better than being in one. | |
