Week: Aug. 30 - Sept. 3

Good Morning ladies!!

I sure hope you are ready to start on a new card challenge!


Since Digital is becoming such a hot new thing - I want to focus today's challenge on "hybrid". And in case you haven't browsed the store yet, you will see we have some FANTASTIC Digital Designers that have some wicked awesome digital elements in the store. And in fact, every Monday, there is a special for .99 cent Mondays.

One thing I LOVE about digital is the ease. You download the elements, you edit that element in a photo editing program, print and glue. Voila - fast, easy and cheap embellishments for your page or card!!!

so this week's challenge is just that - CREATE A HYBRID OR DIGITAL CARD!!!

I was all ready to play this morning on the card challenge. You want me to make a card AND go digital?!!! lol

I just bought & downloaded some digi stuff. It may take the whole week to make one card! lol

I am FREAKING OUT!!! I took Jessica Sprague's Up & Running with Photoshop 3 years ago and can't remember one thing. lol I think I will just print one digi thing & stick it on a card. This is too hard for my 46 year old brain.

Thanks, Renee! You'll be happy to know that I actually did a quick digi layout last night and now I feel confident enough to make my hybrid card. Hope to have time to work on it later today.

Renee, Here is my take on the hybrid card challenge. I used the heart from Janet Carr's Dear Sweet Friend collection. It was fun to spread my crafty wings a little, thanks!

Sherry I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! THis turned out absolutely FANTASTIC!! Love how you used the heart and the mini alphas! Such a pretty card! I'm so happy you spread your wings! How'd it feel to do a card AND hybrid on top of it?? Ready for more??

Since I discovered the 'digi' world around one year ago I almost always do hybrid cards and projects *g* ... so this is THE challenge for me!

But I don't want to cheat and will post a **new** card tomorrow

I'm making progress, I downloaded some goodies from the store and printed them... now I just need to get sticky!

Renee, I'm still emotionally spent from doing a card/digi combo. Baby steps for me, my friend! lol!
