8/31 Tuesday Challenge

I'm a sucker for pretty papers. I am a collector of pretty napkins and pretty wrapping paper.

This week's challenge is to use wrapping paper on a layout or card. For my design, I combined wrapping paper with some of the DELISH new MME 'Lost and Found' and 'Haunted' lines. {both are sold here in the store!! }

Here's the wrapping paper I started with:


I used the wrapping paper a couple different ways. First, I grabbed a package of Pink Paislee rub-ons and used the whole sheet to cover a large piece of wrapping paper.


Then I used it to make a fun flower.

I just have to try this, what a fun challenge. I need to check my stash of wrapping paper and noodle over this and see what I can come up with!

Carrie, This is fabulous!!! I don't know if I have any wrapping paper that's worthy of a layout, I may have to go shopping.

i just bought some more wrapping paper today - 75% at hallmark - got some deeelish patterns! i think i am addicted.

Here is my take for the challenge, I used kraft wrapping paper. tfl!

Here's my card for the gift wrap challenge. I looked around at Target for fancy gift wrap but cheaped out and decided to make use of what I had. I played around and kept botching things up, so I settled for a few folded strips and called it good!



I love the idea of having a coordinating card with the wrapped gift, I think I'll do this more often!

OMG!!! You are all totally rocking this challenge! I have some wrapping paper that I have put aside for scrapping. I should try to remember where that "put aside" place is...
