Wanna hear something HI-LARIOUS?

This is one of the embarrassing story moments ----

Yesterday Tom and I took our girls to the pumpkin patch along with a couple of our friends and their kids. It was an absolute GLORIOUS day outside and all started well.....

We get on the trailer and start our hayride - the kids loving the animals and stops along the way to the pumpkins. We make it to the pumpkin patch - we all get down and start hunting for that perfect pumpkin.

Well, just as I was bending down to pick mine up - my pants split. Not in the seam but from the back pocket to my knee. My entire right cheek was exposed. My good friend Tina who was standing there next to me heard the riiiiippp and said the vision of how quickly I stood up along with the absolute horrified look on my face is permantely implanted in her brain. Of course by this time we both are having difficulties breathing from laughing so hard which in turn draws a crowd as everyone else decided to come see why we are hysterically dying. I do owe Shanna's husband a big thanks for sacrificing their son's shirt so I could cover up.

It was awesome - I don't think I even had time to be embarrassed. It was just to damn funny. Now - if I didn't have something to cover up the gaping hole? Then yes, I think at that point it'd be a Southwest commercial of "Wanna get Away"

hahaha- the visual IS something. I tell ya - it all happened so quickly but the rest of the ride seemed unending! hahaha

I always wear clean underwear thank goodness but since I usually wear thongs (TMI?) my entire cheek was just hanging for the world to see. I think that's what makes it even more hilarious. It did take us a few minutes to compose ourselves and think of a good plan to get me covered up. I think we were laughing so hard at the obsurdity of it all we couldn't focus long enough. All I can say is thank goodness we had a toddler there that it is more acceptable to be shirtless than a grown women with her ass hanging out.

hahaha - no worries Carrie - I'm sure out of the 2 friends there one had to have gotten a photo. LOL

And Ellen - funny you say that because it is quite rare that something DOESN'T happen when I'm around. I'm the magoo in my circle of friends so it's almost a guarantee that something will happen to me. and you have no idea how grateful I was to have them there to shield me while we thought of a plan! Although - now I know this will not be forgotten and will be reminded of for a a while. LOL --- comes with the territory I suppose

oh and forgot to mention that while my friends were laughing their butts off they never did leave my side --- however Tom shot out there like a cat on crack. hahahaha - I think he was more embarrassed than I was!

OMG, that is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. The whole time I was reading it, I was thinking to myself, "Dear Lord, I hope she didn't have on a thong!" Thanks for the good laugh, Renee! I'm so glad you were with good friends, that makes it soooo much easier to handle.

yeah - it's pretty dang funny. Even my stepdaughter put on her facebook status that we went to the pumpkin patch...had fun but her stepmom split her pants. bwahahahahaha

the most memorable part of the day - so glad I can be a part of fond memories! bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha

That is a hoot!!! I had the crotch of my ski pants split in jr high right as we hit the slops. I rigged it together like I was sewing thread with the old wire of a ski pass on my jacket. lucky thing I didn't fall that would have been bad. However, yours was in broad daylight and your friend heard it.
