| Today a coworker received a call from an escrow company in which the caller was almost SCREAMING at her before she could even get "Good Morning" out to her. It frustrated me but also reminded me of something...
Some mornings I get up on the wrong side of the bed. I am sure every one of us has experienced this.
You are running late from the start. You spill your coffee. Your child does not want to cooperate. Your spouse has left a wet towel on the bed. Your clothes are too tight. Your vehicle is out of gas. Traffic is awful. Your desk is piled with work. You get a nasty call from an outside company. All of this and its not even 8 am yet.
The list could go on and on.
Make me a promise today.
When you open your mouth to speak to another person, remember that they could be fighting one of these battles (if not something far worse) and that they deserve the same respect that you would want from another if your day started out like this. You might just make someone's day by spreading kindness.
I love you all and wish only the best for you today!

| I completely agree! And being in customer service for over well, 15 years now, I am sad to say I have seen th besfore. I had a conversation with an customer once about this and told them we would take the blame and fix the problem but it was not acceptable to scream and belittle my teller. I immediately called my boss and told her and she agreed. The other customers actually applauded me, LOL! You cannot treat people that way. That is a person on the other side of the phone for goodness sakes! So, I promise | |

| Sorry that happened Brianne but you ARE SO RIGHT! Being in the mortgage business is not easy nowadays and we can only do what we can. We all are human and make mistakes and have bad days but it is no reason to be ugly to someone else. I can't tell you how many times I've been screamed at. All I do is politely apologize and tell them to feel free to call me back when they are ready to discuss the issue so I can be of assistance. | |

I have been consciously trying not to do it as much. they don't understand stress, so they don't understand why Mommy is like that sometimes, you know! | |
