| Today, I get to have lunch with the cutest little Pilgrims and Native Americans. Every year, when I walk into the school cafeteria & see the kids dressed in their attire, I get weepy. It's so sweet and they are so excited for us to be there. As an added bonus, lunch is served to us by our local firefighters! It's one of my favorite days of the year. Have a blessed day, everyone! | |

| Oh that sounds like so much fun! They did that in Kindergarten with my oldest. It was so sweet until I got to be the one to take care of the puking kid sitting next to my son until his mom came! | |

| Sherry, how fun! Our 5K kids do a Thanksgiving program every year, I'm sad that's behind us now! They also write a "recipe" for how to fix a turkey... these are hilarious! It's National Education Week here at our school so we had lunch with our 3rd grader yesterday and tomorrow we'll have lunch with our 1st grader. No pilgrims though! Becki... yuck! However, if it were my son that was sick I would have been so grateful for your help in my absence! | |

| I just got back from the feast and it was precious. Athough in true Thanksgiving feast fashion, I now need a nap. Maybe it's because I stayed up to watch Jimmy Kimmel for the last two nights. Lesson learned. | |

I've had that happen while in the classroom, but not at lunch, thankfully! | |
