| Today is THE day in our house, it's time to decorate for Christmas!! My kids are so excited, esp. because our elves return today to stir up some fun Holiday mischief. If I have any creative energy left, I hope to scrap later today.
What's on your agenda for the day!
Happy Friday, everyone!

| I am not doing anything today but relaxing. The kids are both sick and I have my third sinus infection in the past several months!!! Does anyone know anything really good to build your immune system back up? I guess vitamin C??? | |

| Yes, I've been getting an early start to the decorating this year too! I thought we'd start a new tradition of putting up our tree on Thanksgiving night now, so that is what we did after we got home from my brother's place last night. Today I've been trying to put up most of the other stuff here and there. I wanted to scrap some today since I've got some dt assignmets to finish up, but nothing yet... maybe by Sunday! | |

| We put ours up today while we had all our girls here. We didn't put as many decorations out this year but it's still pretty festive now around here. | |

| We spent all day Friday with my sister/brother in law, and my niece and her new hubby. We hung out all day...went to a movie and out to Pizza Hut ... then hit Target and Macy's.
I normally don't put my tree and decorations up until Dec. 1st .... we were actually planning to put it up tomorrow before my son goes back to college, but it turns out he has to leave earlier than he originally planned, so I'll most likely wait til 12/1 this year too.

| We will do it all next weekend. I am in search of something new for our mantel and stairs this year. I have been doing the same thing for years now and I want something new. I have a few ideas, I just need to find the stuff I want.

| Got all my outside lights done last week before all the kids came. I'm the grizwald's here - put up in the neighborhood of 50 strings of lights - took me all day long. Debating on putting up the tree - we won't be here and I'm the only one who does the work so thinking long and hard. With no little ones around it's hard to get motivated. | |

| Did a little bit of decorating today. Not a lot tho. We haven't got our tree yet and we do need a few new strings of lights after last year.
BUT all the fall stuff is down and put away and the vast majority of my snowmen are out - those that don't hang on the tree anyway, AND Zoe's nativity scene is out! here's hoping she keeps it up and off the floor so the dog doesn't eat baby Jesus!
The rest will be done next weekend after my ds turns, GULP, . . . 17!
Blessings,
Garsy | |

| we put ours up Saturday and then we decorated outside (for the first time this year) yesterday. it is so fun being done already! the fact that we get to enjoy it for 3+ weeks make me smile.
henry helped put ornaments on the tree, he was so excited! it was very cute. and owen helped. he put all of his ornaments in the same spot b/c all he wanted to do was climb on teh chair {sigh} boys will be boys!

| I'm so jealous!!! I am so behind schedule this year. We normally decorate the first week in November. I know it seems early but it usually takes us a week! My house looks like Christmas on crack when we're done! We do it that early so we have plenty of time to enjoy it since it's so much work.
We haven't done anything yet because it looks like we may be moving in December! I want to move but hate that it landed in my favorite month of the year! Add a wedding for my daughter in the mix for December and you see why I haven't done anything yet!
I'm enjoying blog surfing looking at everyone else's decorations they are posting!
