I do love Christmas music but one station here plays John Lennon's "So this is Christmas" (I don't even know if that's the name of it) at least 15x daily. Now when I hear it, it makes me cringe!

This is me too Rebecca! It definitely takes the specialness out of it when I have to listen to it so much. Where I work - they have the radio over our overhead speakers - so I'm imprisoned to having to listen to it for 8 hours a day!

Now that you mention it I remember jobs where that was the case and feeling like I would go nuts after a day or so of listening to it all day long!

| When I was in high school, my best friend had the rule :No Xmas music until December 1st. I've always stuck to it and so far, I haven't heard any on the radio yet (but I only listen to the radio when I'm in the van, which isn't that often.) | |

| Yikes! I guess I'm the odd duck in the group! I started listening to Christmas music in November when I was working on some Christmas pages and have had it going ever since. It's on my iTunes at home, cd's in the car and anywhere else I can find it! Did I say it's my most favorite time of the year??? | |

| At church yesterday, we sang a few Christmas songs (it was the first Sunday of Advent). It was really nice and I was tempted to get out my Christmas CDs/playlists a couple of days early. | |

| Two of the presets on my van radio are playing Christmas music nonstop and it started a couple weeks ago. It seems to start earlier and earlier every year. The song I hear all the time that makes me cringe is Paul McCartney's "A Wonderful Christmas Time". It gets trapped in my head and I hear it over and over!
I supposed it would be unprofessional for you to wear earplugs to work!

I can't get it out of my head either, last night it was bugging me! And now that I came and read this post, it's really not helping! Let's go put a catchy song we like on the stereo and get rid of it once and for all!

| LOL - Lori - I don't like that song much either! And Sheri - I LOVE Christmas music but having to listen to it 8 hours a day NONSTOP is a little much. Now if they would start doing that a couple weeks before Christmas - I can handle that. By then I will excited to hear it - not burned out. | |

| Don't tell my best friend from high school, but I listened to one of the Christmas CDs on my playlist last night while I scrapbooked. It was Chris Tomlin -- Glory in the Highest. ( http://www.christomlin.com/home.php) I got it last year and love it! | |
