Just heard ...

...just heard on the news that Elizabeth Edwards passed away today. It's devastating to me whenever someone loses their battle with cancer. My heart feels so heavy for her and her children.

Very sad. I though she was doing so well.

joyce, i heard on the news last night that the doctors gave her very bad news this week ... all the news said last night was that there was nothing else the docs could do for her and she was going down hill fast.

then just a few minutes ago i heard she passed away today.

I'm sad about her passing. I just saw her on the Nate Berkus show the other day, perhaps it was rerun. She showed her warm and cozy home and her furniture store. She talked about wanting to make it another 8 years to see her youngest turn 18 and how much she wanted a grandbaby! ::sniff::

just so sad. prayers for her family!

This news makes me very sad. I thought she always carried herself with such dignity and grace in spite of everything going on in her life.

that is sad. it's scary how things can change so quickly

it seems sudden, however, i think she kept it private as long as she could. she fought the fight and to me won. even tho we personally lost (her). she was gracious, brave, and faithful. i can only hope to be quite the lady she was.

i know. She seemed to carry herself with such dignity in spite of the situations thrown to her. Really hated to hear this too.

I totally admired Elizabeth Edwards.
That woman dealt with some serious crap in her life - the loss of her son,
her husband's mis-steps...and she did it with grace & dignity. God bless her!

I want to buy her most recent book. I've heard it's very inspirational - I'd like to
give it as a gift for Christmas.
I looked for it today while I was at the Walmart SC, but they didn't have it.
Need to get to a book store.
