I know....

I haven't been around much lately and I am sorry. I have not forgotten about ya'll and my cards have been sent! Its just been really hard this Christmas with it being the first without my mom. I don't want to be a downer so I won't go into details but I promise once I get over this holiday slump I will be back scrapping with the bells on!

I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sure the holidays just aren't the same without your mother. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers! {{{hugs}}}

i can so relate. i still miss my mom. we did something totally different that year so it kind of eased the pain. hugs and prayers.

I know... the first is a toughie, Jennifer! But unfortunately, this is the 3rd Christmas without my dad, and it doesn't seem to get any easier... the holidays will never be the same! Sad

Thanks everyone, its good to know that I am not being over dramatic and others miss their loved ones just as much as I do. Not that I am happy you all are missing someone but it makes it easier knowing I am not alone.

Big Hugs to You Jennifer! I am having a hard time during the Holidays too...with my grandma just passing away. We always are at her house during the holidays(well anytime really), and it's just really hard. I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers!

Lots of hugs to you. I remember that first Christmas for me and it was 'different'. What helped was trying to recreate with my kids the fun things "Honey" did for us and laughing at how we just couldn't do it as good as her. Remember the memories & traditions she gave you. Heart U
