So what's on your agenda for the day?


We took it easy this morning and just snuggled in bed watching some TV then had lunch. I have my yearly MRI today and let me tell you I'm not looking forward to it. I am really starting to hate these things.

I have to get my ID picture taken, which means a birthday is just around the corner. So I can be fabulous at 40 like Julie!

I'm all packed for our trip even though we aren't leaving until the 8th. LOL I am so looking forward to warmer weather.

I am planning on sewing when I get home later. I'm just taking on small projects as I teach myself how to sew. This project is a pieced scarf.

At work today while we are under a blizzard warning. As long as I can get on that plane next week I'm good to go. Probably won't be here too long since I live out of town and the roads can get tricky. I plan to continue on cleaning out cupboards & sneaking in some scrapbook room organizations. I have a co-worker's daughter, age 11, coming over tomorrow to scrapbook with me. I'm taking her to lunch first.

keeping my leg elevated and my dh hopping. lol!! he takes awesome care of me.

Had to run a few errands today. Now, I'm thinking of cleaning up my scraproom, ugh, where to begin? lol

Joyce, I hope you show us the scarf when it's completed!

This morning 2 of the 3 kiddos got haircuts and this afternoon E has basketball practice from 4-6. After we drop her off we are swinging by a friends house with a get well gift for her daughter that had surgery yesterday. I have pork in the crockpot for pulled pork sandwiches tonight so it's starting to smell really good around here. Otherwise, laundry, cleaning and feeding the natives round the clock! We're expecting some interesting weather the next couple days... freezing rain and then rain turning to snow. The 2 feet of snow will melt and probably cause flooding in some areas. Mother Nature has been temperamental lately!

well my day started today at 330 this morn with a whiny kiddo that did NOT wanna go back to sleep. So i had to stay up with her while she played and watched caillou...lemme tell ya..pure torture, i can deal with the no sleep but to be subjected to watching caillou that early in the morning is just inhumane! by the time she went back my other 2 were awake...so no rest for the weary. SO a full day of kiddos is my claim to fame..everyday all day

Great minds think alike, Lori... I just got back from the store with a pork roast to make Pulled Pork! Thinking I'm doing that for New Years Day!

I hope your MRI went okay for ya today, Joyce! At least it's over and done for yet another year!

I was hoping to finish the scarf tonight but I'm freezing and feeling more like cuddleling on the couch tonight with some hot cocoa. But I'll show you when it's finished.

I was thinking pulled pork as well, but figured we will have pork on New Years day so I better wait.
