I'm a workin' girl again!

Well, at least part-time that is! I have not worked outside of the house since 2006 when I had to quit due to complications with my pregnancy. Aside from even trying to find a job these days, it's really been more of a struggle simply pulling myself together to even want to be working again in the public. One of the difficulties with losing my babies is that I have also lost myself somewhat in the process, and the daily functioning is something I'm trying to get back... I've been doing a lot of hiding and wallowing in self-pity, and it's finally time for me to take some steps forward... baby steps. So what do I do? I went and got myself a job at a childcare center. I worked at a preschool for many years before I was married, so it's nothing new for me, but it is a challenge somewhat because I've avoided being around babies and children for awhile now, due to my circumstances. But, like I said, it's a step forward and I think it's what I need to do at this point!

Sorry for rambling, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm a working girl again! Thanks for listening!

I def think getting up, showering, getting ready and having to get out there will help. You can do it and liking what you will be doing will help, too. (IMO)

Congratulations Andrea! Sounds like a step in the right direction. It's tough to get focus back after something like that happens but it sounds like you have a good handle on it! We here supporting you girl!
