| I have just been swamped around the house...we had a guy interested in our property so I've been so busy keeping the place clean, doing stuff with the kids, and just life...I hope everyone is doing great! I am hoping to get some time to scrap soon! | |

| Thanks Andrea! The guy that was looking ended up not taking our counter offer, but that's okay. It hasn't been on the market long:) | |

| That's a good sign you had someone already interested! I remember when we were trying to sell our house in Charlotte just a couple years ago. We wound up taking an offer that would make your stomach turn just to sell it (like us having to bring $65,000 to the table, not to mention the equity we lost in the house which totalled a loss of $90,000 on the home). Sounds like the market may be turning around out there so I will pray that you get what you need on your house and that it happens quickly!
I know you aren't catholic but get a St. Joseph and bury him facing North upside down in your yard. It works to help sell your home quickly. It's worked for everyone in our family and some friends.

| That's something I had never heard, but that's pretty neat. I can't believe it, but it really isn't a seller's market still. I hoped since it had a little land with it, that would be the selling point. We'll see. What I do know is that I'm not worrying about it. I've spent too much of the last year worrying about things that were out of my control, so this year I'm just going with the flow and what happens happens. Thanks for the idea! The realtor called me this morning and said someone else is coming to look at it Thursday:) | |

| Good luck Jessi! It's so hard to get a house ready to sell especially with little ones. I've done it twice and it was so miserable. We got lucky and our homes sold quickly...I hope yours will as well! | |

Thanks! I am doing a 52 week project...taking a self portrait every week. It's fun and I'm hoping to improve on my photography and maybe editing skills this year!

| I can imagine how crazy that would be to try and show your house with little ones. I hope you get the offer you're looking for! | |

| I wish you all the best of luck in this endeavor. And I have heard of the St. Joseph statue burying thing. You can find them at Christian book stores in case you're interested. | |
