Sorry for being mia been in texas visiting my family I will be home thursday. I'm currently in the icu waiting room for my grandma to get out of open heart surgery. I will be looking forward to catching up with everyone when I get ! Hope you all are good

I'll be praying your grandmother's surgery is routine and that she has a speedy recovery! Keep us posted!

Other than hanging out at the hospital, I hope the rest of your trip has been a lot of fun. Going back home is always good for the soul!

Thanks everyone! I am back home today after a very exhausting few days. I do not like hospitals and having a loved one in there makes me not like them even more.

I had a WONDERFUL visit. I got to see so much of my family and I really got that one on one quality time since I went by myself. Lori - you are so right when you said going back home is good for the soul. It really is and leaving last night was very rough. I think I cried the whole flight. It's good to be home so I can jump back into my schedule and routine but it's hard being back here when my Grandma is still in the hospital.

Albeit, she is doing incredibly well. Before I left yesterday they thought they would be able to get her up out of her bed and get her moving around a bit and hopefully by Friday or Saturday she will be leaving ICU and going to the regular floor for a few more days. Then home. This is all barring there are no complications. Which so far so good --

We joke she is now half pig since they had to replace her heart valve with a pig valve but we are just super glad that the surgery worked and she will be well again.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes! They are certainly appreciated and it feels good to be back and I'm ready to get back to scrapping!!! It's been way too long!
