Ooops

I picked up two boxes of canned drinks in Walhalla yesterday-- a cherry coke for a friend and a diet A&W root beer for me (I have to cross the border to the US to get these ) Well, I brought the coke inside, but forgot about the root beer.
This morning, as we were leaving for work/school, my kids informed me of the explosion in the back of the van. Root beer slush everywhere.

What is the dumbest/most embarassing thing you've done lately?

Ok so the dumbest thing I've done lately that I keep kicking myself for over and over was at my daughters wedding on New Years Eve. She was having a winter wonderland wedding and all the bridesmaids were supposed to have white fur muffs going down the aisle instead of flowers. Well, everyone was at the hotel getting ready, then we had a 15 minute drive to the wedding venue which was in downtown Nashville on New Years Eve. About 10 minutes before the wedding, we wonder where the muffs are. Mom (that would be me) forgot them in the hotel room! Mind you, there was a huge New Years Eve celebration of dropping the guitar just 1/2 block away, the Nashville Symphony was having their first performance since the flood in May, so traffic was horrible...thousands of people had flocked the downtown area. It would have taken an hour just to get out of downtown! So we had to proceed with the wedding with no white fur muffs! I cried! Literally the dumbest thing I have done lately, and probably won't be able to forget it for a very long time since I'm reminded every time I see pictures!

Let's see, I do dumb things on a daily basis so I'll have to noodle over this and come up with a real good one!

ohh thats a shame....for both of you ladies....and I too have those moments almost daily ...my recent one that I just learned of was that I sent my Walmart credit card payment ...on time....but it went to the wrong address. Here I put it in other bills envelope (one that had a $0 bal. but they still send you a statement). And they sent it back to me. So now I have a silly late, overdue Walmart account....which seriously never happens in our household. ....so thats mine
