| I don't know first hand, but I can ask around to a couple of my gal pals. Not sure if any of them were ever crafty, but they can at least give me an idea.
Grats on the fun orders!!! We were offered Italy before WA and we were hesitant to take them. Italy is the ONE spot where I have heard both good and bad things. Germany I have only heard good!

| Ooh, have fun in Germany. I know it's hard to just pack up and move around in the military, but I bet it's cool getting to live in so many different places. If I hear of anything I'll let you know:) Good luck! | |

| I'm sure there are some amazing scrappers in Germany!
So excited for you! Germany is GORGEOUS!!!!! Been there twice and loved it! So much history. It's amazing to be in Munich and eat in the same restaurant where Hitler started gaining his momentum. Look at the architecture, the history, you'll realize how "young" America is in comparison!
Word to the wise......Germany, and probably Europe as well, is a lot more "progressive" then we are here in the states. For example, Where as here there would be frosted glass to cover up certain magazines, there it's wide open and out in the public.
Where will you be stationed? Down south in Bavaria it's very different than up north near Berlin. Think oompah band, beer gardens vs more cosmopolitan and city like.
ahhh....I'm jealous!!!

ahhh....I'm jealous!!! I'm definetely a little worried about all the nudity since my son is 10 and at VERY impressionable age.. I'll be doing ALOT of eye covering lol We'll be stationed in Geilenkerchen. It's on the border of the Netherlands.

We have to live off base because there's no on base housing so I'm pretty excited about that!

We have to live off base because there's no on base housing so I'm pretty excited about that! You will love it! When i lived there our landlord could not speak English hardly at all so I learned a lot from just trying to communicate with him and his family

I am originally from there and lived in Berlin for the first nine years of my life. I left my heart there when our family moved to the States!
