UPDATE~A bit nervous

Amy - I just hate that you are dealing with this. My husband strained his back a couple of months ago, and for a man who won't even take Tylenol or go to the doctor, he looked at me and said I need to go to the doctor so they can give me pain medicine. The man didn't even take anything when he had his appendix out.

I know it is tough, and it feels like it will never get well. It will. Keep your chin up. Thinking about you

I think it comes in pill form but we just buy the straight oil in a bottle and add it to food. It can be a dressing for salad along with balsamic vinegar too!

I've never done any follow up, I've learned to listen to my body. I try not to push through the pain, sometimes you don't have a choice, but when it starts flaring up it usually means I need to rest. And quite frankly sometimes you need the meds, when your in constant pain your body can become so stressed that it can't possibly relax enough for healing. I know rest can be a hard thing to come by but it's usually very helpful.

Thanks everyone. I updated my first post. Tammy, you know they can do injections for those that suffer from migraines? People in IL come to see my doctor to get them done.

That is good to know Amy. My migraines have been so much better since my last surgery and the change in my job. I mostly battle sinuses now. One of my passages is not right so I suspect that will be something I deal with forever. Thank God for Sudafed!

just read your update amy .... sounds like some major stuff is going on .... i sure hope the injections give relief that lasts for you ... do they know what caused it?

Amy I so know how you feel... Honestly I do. I have Lupus & MS and suffer from pain on a daily basis. I have went the whole medication route and then did the injection with PT. NOt fun but I tried it. I am happy to say that I am back on daily meds... LOL It was just so much easier and well I hate needles so it wasn't any fun. So the meds are good and after LOTS and I mean LOTS of changing meds we finally found a few different things that work. Plus I take muscle relaxers a couple times a day which seem to help also. I also have a bottle of Vicodin I can take if I am having a really bad pain day. LOL
