Hi everyone! Are you ready for this week's Thursday Challenge? Well, its up over at the
blog and here it is:
I thought it would be fun to use inspiration from an ad for our challenge. I love looking at ads for ideas! Companies spend thousands, if not, millions of dollars on advertising, so why not put that to work for us. I love getting color combinations, page layouts, and even typeface ideas from magazines, ads, and even store displays.
Here's my inspiration ad for this week's layout.
I chose a page layout from an Anthropologie catalog.
I love the look of this...the random placing of the photos and the spots of text where I would put journaling. This is out of my box and not what I would typically do on a layout so this was a challenge for me as well!
And here is my layout based on the inspiration page:
My layout uses several of the new Studio Calico patterned papers now available in the FTLOA store!

So, here's the challenge for you.....
Create your layout or project using an ad for inspiration. You can either use the same ad I used for mine or you can use your own choice. And it doesn't have to be just design, it can be color inspiration, or whatever inspires you about the ad. Just let us know what it is. If you use your own choice, please make sure you share that with your layout/project when you post it in the forum.
