| has been a doozy. Yesterday, while mowing the lawn, I ran over a nest of bees in the ground. Those suckers were so angry that when they stung me, it bled. Today my leg was so swollen that I couldn't squat or walk without pain. I decided I'd better get it checked out. Luckily, I rec'd meds and a shot and I have orders to elevate my leg. So that's what I'll be doing the rest of the night! lol

| Oh geez Sherry! That sounds painful! I'm so glad my DH does all the outside work. LOL Were they those ground wasps or were these bees? We get those awful red wasps that nest in the ground and I can't count the number of times I've been scooping poop in the yard and got stung on my foot. agressive little boogers. I'm glad you are ok - getting stung that bad can be bad! You rest up and elevate that leg. No better reason to procrastinate on things now! | |

You're cracking me up, I need to work! lol They were ground bees (a type of yellow jacket) and their sting feels like a blow torch! Thanks to the meds, my leg is much better today, I actually went to the gym for my workout and now I'm ready to tackle more chores. | |
