Any fun plans?

I love 4th of July! It's one of my favorite times of the year! Anyone have anything fun planned for the long weekend?

We're just hanging around at home but on the 4th, we'll be going to a fun party with lots of our friends enjoying the day and lighting some fireworks!

What are you doing?

We have company in from Brazil and we are heading to Gatlinburg on Monday. We rented a cabin almost as high as you can get so we are hoping for a good fire work show.

Oh that sounds so fun! I love Gatlinburg! Some of those cabins up there are amazing! Have a great time!

Dh took some extra days off so we could FINALLY paint our bedroom. Other than that, I have been keeping the kids occupied. Lots of swimming and crafting. Today I did a bit of shopping at the mall for MYSELF --- I dont honestly remember the last time I bought myself clothes and shoes! Tomorrow we have the summer movie pass movie and then tomorrow night we are meeting another family with kids the same ages as ours at a soccer field for fireworks and treats.

Had a family picnic today. Tomorrow I have off but dh works. Looks like a boring day ahead and getting the latest news of the Casey Anthony trial, lol! Ohh, and catching up on the piles of laundry.
