What's everyone up to today? We're leaving for vacation this afternoon so I won't be doing any scrapping for a few days. I'll be taking my laptop though, so you won't be getting rid of me completely! lol

She planned a trip to Shipshawanna (Amish country here. Sorta like
an outdoor flea market of all kinds of cool stuff.)

I finally had to tell her I just couldn't go !
So she planned it with all my Aunts & Grandma.
I feel so guilty that I might drive up tomorrow to meet
them.

It's been a busy day here....I cleaned like a mad woman this morning and made vanilla extract this afternoon. Laundry is on the schedule for this evening.

It's super duper easy Andrea. I actually found the idea on Pinterest (come on...join the obsession Wink

It has to sit for 8 weeks before you can use it. I'll let you know how it tastes though Wink

Have fun on your vaca Sherry! As for me, I'm staying inside where it's cool for the next day or so. It was soooo hot yesterday and supposed to be worse today....heat index is 114!!! No thank you!

Becki, I went to Hilton Head last summer and loved it! I'm also curious about the vanilla extract, is it that much better when it's homemade?

Hilton Head...is that in the Charlston area? I think that is where we will spend most of our time.

Homemade vanilla is supposed to be fantastic and make a huge difference. Mine won't be ready until September so I'll let you know then Wink
