It's Friday!!!

What's everyone up to today? We're heading out to the pool. Paige met a new friend yesterday that she's anxious to swim with today, so I'm grabbing my book and heading out to find a shady spot! Have a great weekend, everyone!

I'm sending my hubby and kiddos camping for the weekend!!! I plan on some "me" time...crafting, sleeping, reading! I'm so excited!

Oooh, have fun while the family is away! I'm trying not to be jealous!

I'm reading Summer in the South by Cathy Holton. She's a local (Signal Mtn., TN) author and my friend (Tracy F.) is hosting a book club party next week and Cathy will be there. So, I've got to get busy and read the book.

Now I'm jealous, Sherry! A book club party with the author sounds great!

Don't get too jealous...I'll still have 1 kiddo with me. The little guy is staying home with me. He still takes naps and goes to bed early so it will still be a bit of a break for me.

I have to work today and then tonight I'm taking the oldest and middle child to this place called Easely Amused to do some painting! It's going to be a lot of fun.

not much around here-laundry, dishes, etc.
we are doing a fun craft today and making maracas out of water bottles-just waiting for the paint to dry.
hoping for some time to work on my assignments for LOAD.

We did swimming this morning and grocery shopping. Then I read them installment #3 of the Magic Treehouse books--we are cruising through them lol! Now they have quiet or nap time, while I attempt to get some stuff done. I am working all day tomorrow, but tomorrow evening will be nice--probably just grill and go in the pool. Sunday I am thinking we may go to see Cars 2 and then clean the house--woohoo--it is just one big party over here

Renee, I've been dying to go to a painting place like that. Yours turned out great, btw!
