how was your weekend???

Hope it was a great one!

How is your week looking?

It was good. Saw HP with my son Friday morning- it was great. I had to get a new phone epic 4g- I am on a huge learning curve with it. Got a call from Dorian photography studios asking me to come for an interview today.

Saturday, I got 1 layout down and loaded in the gallery here and on my blog. I went with a friend to checkout a band for her 50th bday party.

Did as little housework as possible, "enjoying" the look of my WEED garden. LOL

Home from interview and I GOT THE JOB!!!! it may be temporary and part time, but it is a JOB!!!

I will be taking asb/school photos around the area starting Aug. 22 HUGE answer to prayer.

She was going to wait to hire anyone until wednesday, but said personality was a big part and communication and she said lets just call it a done deal- and handed me the paperwork. how was your weekend??? 917859

I guess my yakking worked for me and it is a plus we are in the same age group togother.

Our weekend was fine. HOT. Like 106 AFTER dinner. Yuck. I worked Saturday and came home wiped out so we just went in the pool and ordered pizza. Sunday we got up early to see a matinee of Cars 2. Meh. The rest of the day was cleaning and I got a teeny bit of scrapping done and then I took a MAJOR nap. One of those where you have no choice, your body just collapses. This week should be nice. We went to the kids movie pass today, tomorrow we are going to the gym, thursday I am taking DD and one of her friends pottery painting.

106 degrees- wow I am suprised people leave their houses and go to work. You needed a nap, I know about those days.

This week should be fairly easy

It was great esp. since we're on vacation.

i am excited to read tomorrow. i am reading the Hunger Games Trilogy and I CANNOT put it down. Best books I have ever read.

Ellen have never heard of those books. What type are they?

I saw The Help today and was thinking I would read it before I saw the movie, but I want to take it to Cabo next month with me.

I don't want to lug alot of books and I don't have a kindle or nook. SOO, I may have to bring 4 books. Any other suggestions? I was thinking water for elephants, maybe a nora roberts book

Hey Kristen... congrats on the job! Funny because I just saw a job description for a similar job taking school photos for around our area here. I thought about applying for it too but I haven't.

Kristen, I think Water for Elephants and The Help are 2 good choices. Really good reads and a bit longish so you wont be through them in a day. I just finished Room and thought it was brilliant but I got through it in 2 afternoons so maybe not for your vaca if you only want to bring 4.

Well I do read fast. I read the last HP book in 3 days. I read 1.5" novels in about 4 hours. So I am trying to get together a list and then go and look at them and see if I can get some at the library.
