Ok, so this comes after taking pictures for "Week In The Life" and looking at my own....

How often do you clean out your refrigerator?

I was looking at a picture I took of the inside of mine, wondering why I didn't clean it out first! But then again, that wouldn't be real life, now would it. I usually am clearing mine every few days of things that need to be thrown out but full on, cleaning it out, spraying it down, washing produce drawers, etc.....probably once a month. But I do clean up spills and drips in between of course.

Just curious about the rest of you.....

I used to be so anal about this but I've slacked in so many ways on most of my housework lately and it seems when I do any housework the fridge is never on the list.

so add me to the one that doesn't clean it as often as I should. I'd almost be afraid to take a picture of the inside of mine with some of the science projects I've got started in there! LOL

why bother? sticky hands get it all messed up as soon as i do, LOL!

what is some of the stuff that gets on the shelves? I mean it's like clear and sticky and when I pull stuff out it's not leaking?

I'm constantly purging, wiping, etc. but do a deep clean about every 5 or 6 weeks... maybe! lol

Ellen, That's a great question, what is that stuff?!

Weekly, I always clean out the old food and stuff on Sunday night because Monday is garbage day. As far as really cleaning it out maybe once a month or as needed.

Its seems Like I do it all the time. Someone is always spilling something and I will go ahead and clean it all the way out.

I do go thru every week digging to the back to see whats been shoved back. Then I catch something and throw it out. I do wipe the spilled, but I agree Ellen what's up with the clear stuff and why? Also we get a few hairs (long hair girls) that get stuck in there.

Contantly cleaning off the containers etc... I do deep clean it every 3-5 months depends on what stimulates the clean and if what stimulated it was REALLY bad like a huge juice spill that goes down the back three levels, and of course time.

me too on the clear sticky stuff... its just an ooze that comes with having kids

I clean the fridge maybe every other week but sometimes once every other month... and every now and then I feel like I have to clean it out every other day.
