How is it going? Are you creating a lot?


I would love to hear your feedback about this and creating cards to have in your stash and ready to go.


OH AND WE HAVE ANOTHER SURPRISE COMING!!! I saw it first hand and it's awesome. BUT you have to wait until Saturday.

I plan to do the cards, but I have been up to my eyeballs with work and kid stuff. I am hoping to do 1 tonight maybe and more this weekend while squeezing in creating 2 final projects.

I love what I see in the gallery so far.

I'm loving having the cards. Now I think one of the challenges should be to make a few ready made sentiments to add to any card so we will be all set;)

I'm loving the challenges but am going to have to wait until next week to do anymore as we're away at the cabin for the weekend.

I have one done and the others sketched out....hoping to find time to catch up this weekend

I love the challenges! I'm planning to get mine caught up this weekend! Such great ideas for stocking up on the cards!

I can't believe how great the cards are that everyone's making! I'm not a card maker so this is a stretch for me but some of you girls are definitely pros!!!

I'm not a card maker either Sheri but I love challenges and getting the chance to use up some of my older stuff is great too!

I am having a GREAT time! Really been digging into my Crate stash too. I am almost sad when I finish the challenge for the day, so I have been making other stuff on the side. Really getting my creative juices flowing.

I am really enjoying this Ellen, Its like carefree scrapping. Not worrying aboyut pictures and journaling just having fun creating.

I do have one Question though about the cards. Can we use Quotes that can be used for more than one thing?

will there be challenges on Sundays, too?

(just asking.. not pushing! )

I think card-a-palooza is a great idea. I've been feeling in a bit of a slump, but when I sat down to catch up the challenges the other night, it felt great! It has also got me using supplies that I've had sitting in my stash for a while, and that's always a good thing.

Sure! I used ribbon that had something on it. Just make sure it's kinda generic...so you can use it for any kind of card.

I'm having a blast making these cards, Ellen! I'm still a layout girl to the core but I'm loving being pushed out of my comfort zone to make cards! Thank you!!!!

I think this has been so much fun for everyone! It's been a little push for all of us to get out of our summer slump or at least me!!! Kind of gets the mojo flowing again after all the breaks for the summer activities!

The weather here has not be inspiring.
But I am so glad I was able to get the chance to do the Card-a-Palooza.
I got to make a bunch of cards ready for whatever sentiment maybe needed.
Plus, I got the pull out a bunch of tools and supplies I haven't played with in awhile!

Exactly! I know I've had tons of fun playing in my scrap drawer. I think I'm all caught up making the cards now I just need to get them photographed and posted (that's the hard part for me

I agree!! This has been a fantastic push in the right direction. I don't normally do cards so I have loved the idea of starting a stash of them so that I will be all set when I need one AND like everyone else I LOVE that I am using up a bunch of older stash!!

I have had a blast making the cards, it had been MONTHS since I'd made anything for myself. Summer has kicked our butts... summer school, swimming lessons, t-ball, soccer, archery, air rifle, and getting our 4-H projects done for the fair. The fair was last weekend so we've had a couple jammie days this week and loved every minute of it! When I saw the dates for the Card-a-Palooza, I didn't think there was any way I could participate but I was so inspired I just kept cranking out more cards. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration, I'm starting to feel whole again!

I didn't see the rest of the challenges posted on the master list, but found them in the Everything Cardmaking Forum....

My question is I don't see #15 yet and what is the deadline for all the cards to be uploaded/submited......I didn't see a time/date???

I think I remember reading somewhere that we had until the 17th to get our cards done. I'll poke around and see if I can find where I read that... or maybe I made that up!

I don't think the last challenge has been posted yet, I'm sure it will be sometime this morning.
