how was your weekend???

We had owen's party friday and it was a blast! Even the parents had fun, LOL.

My sister came in to town so that was fun. I had to pick her up and then we went shopping before the party and had lunch. Owen was so excited to see her.

We just got home from dropping her off party of the way and owen wanted to get some stuff with his birthday money.

And I went to my friend's house. She is in and getting married this weekend so we did place settings.


Other than that...not much, LOL!

My weekend was pretty exciting too! I went to CKC with a friend, we then met up with Tracy F. and I also got to meet Jennifer (simplymom3) and her sweet daughter! Tons of shopping, laughing, good food, and CKC classes; it doesn't get much better than that!

And Sherry! I'm so jealous! How was CKC? And I saw on Facebook that you three were meeting up! It would be so fun to meet my FTLOA sisters!

I had a great weekend. I am now ready for baby. I did all the baby laundry - got it folded and hung. Bought the crib and so now I just sit back and wait for Emma to get here. Feels good to have that done though. Girls and I went shopping SAturday for most of the baby stuff and some school shopping. I always have fun hanging with my girls. I don't get that very often when Soccer and volleyball is usually going on. Then Tom and I bought a new living room furniture. We are up to our eyeballs in debt now but it's everything we needed so now I think we are set for the next 10 years.

It was great to finally met you Sherri! It was fun and CKC was a lot of fun.

Sunday, we had dinner at Jason's dad of course but besides that not a lot going on. Did the laundry and worked in the yard.

Oh I had a great weekend! I managed to sneak in a couple of hours at CKC here in Nashville too! Sadly, I wasn't able to meet up with Sherry, Tracy or Simplyamom3. My time was so limited and I was only able to go on Friday morning for a couple of hours but I did manage to do some serious shopping!

Sunday went to church and spent some time in the afternoon with my brother and his family!

our weekend was tiring. lots of swimming, some working, and lots of getting ready for school--both kids went back today!!!!!

Sounds like everyone had a fun weekend! We spent ours up at the cabin and the water was finally warm enough to go swimming! It seems to have taken forever to warm up this year!

Not a darn thing, I wasn't feeling well so I pretty much vegged on the couch all weekend.

We went vehicle shopping Saturday and Sunday we had a family get together. Other then that, some swimming and and crafting rounded out my weekend.

Wow! Sounds like some fun weekends! I am very jealous of all the CKC shopping-ESPECIALLY if there was some Studio Calico buying in there!

We were very busy this weekend:

Girlio had her first swim lesson Friday-supposed to be Tuesdays and Thursdays in August, but severe weather cancelled both, and we had a first make-up session Friday night. Hubby had reserves, but was able to sneak away and join us towards the end (the lessons were on base.)

Saturday was Air Force Family Day, so we spent most of the day climbing all over military equipment (got some FUN pictures!), playing games, face painting, eating, etc.

Sunday I just tried to veg. out a bit as we have so much going on this week!

Umm, yeah, let me just say, that booth got the bulk of my spending money!

I spent most of my money at the Studio Calico booth, too! Imagine that, lol! CKC was lots of fun! Sherry C and I (and our friend from here) had a scrumptiously delicious dinner, and hours of uninterrupted conversation -- what a treat!! I loved all my classes and feel totally inspired and ready to create! After CKC my dh and boys met me in Nashville and we went to see Keith Urban. It was totally fabulous -- Nicole and Sunday Rose were even at the concert! (That man is a sight for sore eyes!)
Sherri T., sorry we didn't get to meet up! I love your fabulous city! (Think I could move there - ha! My husband's firm even has an office there, so I'm ready to go! )

That's awesome that you guys got to meet up and enjoy CKC together and to enjoy dinner and shop!

I can't even remember what I did... nothing important I guess, lol!
