Major Prayers Please / UPDATE

Oh goodness... I hope I can type this with out crying.

15 years ago my brother had a son.
The girl he had a son with basically kidnapped my nephew and
we have not heard from them since.

We have tried everything form hiring a PI to find them and
never had any luck. We knew very little but what we did know
was that they basically lived an extremist life Style. No phones,
tv,radio etc. About 3 years ago we hired another PI and did find
out that she has 8 children all home births and the community
they lived in would not talk a whole lot and than she disappeared
that following week before we were able to act. They literally
packed their bags and disappeared again.

Any ways we kept the PI on call and he would run checks
for us twice a year.

So we get a phone call.....
My nephew ran away, stole a car and is in jail.

Please pray first of all that we can get him back, that the courts can show him mercy since he is 15 going on 16. We are having a bit of a problem getting any info at the moment. I will update as soon as I have more info.....

Oh, Norma... I can't imagine what you're going through right now. I pray that your brother is able to reunite with his son and that everyone is okay. I know it must be so hard not knowing... Wishing you peace, my friend, and sending big hugs your way!

oh gosh Norma! I hope that you can see him and that he can get him back. I hope they do see that and maybe this is a sign that he is back in your life for good and in a good way.

Oh my Norma! That's such a difficult situation. I really hope that your brother can get in contact and have a chance to be a part of his life at last.

Oh wow Norma! I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family are going through. We will definitely say some prayers for you. Praying that he'll be reunited with your family and that the courts will show him favor given his family situation and his age. Keep us posted!

Oh wow what a story Norma, I will be thinking about you, such a harse thing to do taking a child away from his dad. Let's hope the system will work with you. Apparently his mom did not do such a great job with him. Maybe they will bring him back to his dad and you can all reconnect again. Keep us posted and you and your family will be in my thoughts!!!

Oh my goodness.. that poor child. One can only imagine the life he has been living. Lets hope that this is that pivitol moment where things will change, and new relationships can start to develope. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Oh My, I really don't know what to say Norma but I will be praying that you can get to him before she does and I am sure they will have to look at all circumstances and he will get off easy.

Wow, praying for you all.

We are finally getting information.

Here is what happened.
My nephew being a Teen boy got caught with Pornography.

Because of their religious beliefs they said they sought extreme measures
which were....

Severe Beating & They lock him up for a month with only enough water & bits of bread to sustain him. So he stole his mother's car to get away.

The judge let CPS Step in and he is in foster care right now.
He says that this has been going on all his life and would rather
rot in jail than to go back.

When the judge asked the mother for the father's information or relative information ... she said that she would rather die than to do exactly what she has avoided all of Calebs life.
The judge asked her "what has this father done that is so bad?" she said
"he drinks alcohol"

Can you believe how whacked this whole situation is?
I have been crying all for 2 days now.

My brother has his faults and is not in any way perfect... but really because he drinks she has done this to them. I have never even seen my brother drunk ...ever !

Any ways.... CPS is working with my brother now and want to reunite Caleb with him but of course will take time since now my brother has to prove he is a fit father and that he has been searching for him. CPS said after evaluating Caleb they will 100% support the decision for Caleb to be placed with my brother.

I believe I am a very strict parent and also believe I have the right to spank my children. But I have never beat them or starved them..... I am in shock that any one can treat a life like this, a child never the less.

I am so sad that my nephew has been living in this type of situation but I am extremely HAPPY ..... that my 15 year prayer is finally going to be answered.

Please keep our family and Caleb in your prayers as we will need to figure out how to get him the help he will need. Also he has siblings...uuummmmm 11 of them and I extremely worried about all of them and Calebs future relationship with them.

Norma, I can't imagine all the emotions you and your family are going through right now. Will definitely keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Honestly, I'll never understand some things parents do to their children - starving and beating them as punishment; what a world we live in!

Oh, I wish I could give you a big hug right now. It just breaks my heart to read what your family is going through. I'll admit that I drink alcohol, I enjoy a few cold ones now and again. But drinking alcohol doesn't make me an alcoholic. And what I do now is a lot different than what I did 15 years ago. What is that crazy woman running from? She obviously suffers from some sort of mental illness to be treating her children that way. I'd tell you to let God handle this but I believe he's already working on it. Patience, my friend! All of you will remain in my prayers and I hope he will be reunited with your brother very soon. {{{hugs}}}

Wow Norma! That is unbelievable! I too believe in disciplining children but what she did is in no way discipline. She's treated that poor boy worse than I'd treat an animal. It sounds like she really needs professional help. I am thankful that at least now there is a bridge to your nephew and it sounds like things will work out in the end.

We'll keep your family in our prayers for a resolve and for your nephew to be reunited with your family so he can experience what the true love of a family is supposed to be.

What a horrendous situation for you all. I will be thinking of you all and hoping to hear that CPS does the right thing and takes the rest of those kids away from that woman and helps reunite your nephew and brother.

She is not fit to be a mother, such a strange thing to do to your children. I can imagine you huys are all really emotional right now, but reading this I thing by stealing his mom's car he did the right thing for himself. Now he gets help and maybe gets a nice and great life after all with a family that treats him right.

But thinking of you and your family and hope he will be with his dad soon!!!!

Oh wow! thank god he is out of there and away from her for good. Are they going to take the other children away? I know God says to forgive but I would find it very hard to forgive his mother after what she has done to him all his life.
