QOTD 8/18

Ok this may seem like a dumb question, but I really want to know since I feel like I am in the grocery store every other day! Even though I do my regular shopping, it seems I've always forgotten something or run out before the next shopping day! So here's my question....

How do you grocery shop? Do you make a list and go once a week and stock up or do you just go as you need things?

I *try* to make a list and go once a month...BUT I do have to go to get a gallon of milk about once a week. I also get all my produce from a food co-op so that keeps me out of the store even more!

I strive to plan better with groceries but I fail... miserably! I make a Target run every 2 weeks and get some groceries there. The rest I get at our local market as needed. I tried to plan meals at least a day or two ahead but I end up at the grocery store at least twice a week on average.

I h.a.t.e. grocery shopping. I wish I cound send my order in to the store and have it delivered. I go every couple of weeks to stock up and then as needed for milk, etc.

I go to the grocery store once a week. Most of the time I don't have to go back, if I forget something than I do with out it unlless it something major like milk or bread.

Then I go to Walmart once a month or as I need to go. Lately I have been runnng by the dollar store to get cleaning stuff and things like shampoo. Its just closer to my house and I don't have to deal with the traffic to get across town to get to Walmart. I also spend less that way.

I try not to make a list for other than necessities I don't want to forget to pick up.

I know it sounds weird but .... I use ton make a list down to the t but I what was happening was I wasn't trying new things out ...sorta got boring.I was focused on the list and our meals became centered around the same things every week.

I only make a list if there are things I need to buy for a specific recipe. I go grocery shopping once a week, but usually make one mid-week stop for bread or milk or something. Grocery shopping is my least favorite household chore - hate it!

I'm bad about this because I actually love the grocery store. So I'm there a lot but I try to plan things as well.

I go once a week...lucky for me Hubby passes a small and never busy grocery store on the way home each night so if we need milk or bread he always stops and gets it.

I kind of go through cycles, lol. For the most part though, I do a major grocery shop every two weeks, and then make a few stops in between for milk and fresh veggies.

I try to get the majority of our groceries every other week once we get paid, but will need to go pick up a few things here and there. I hate grocery shopping so I try to avoid those places as much as I can!

I usually do list shopping about once a week. Then fill in with little trips here and there. I used to do major shopping every other week, but I found we werent using everything and stuff was going to waste, so now I try not to do too much big shopping and just by as we need.
