| I need to order when I get paid. I want some. I am loving those bright colors. I have found that if I keep my heat gun out on my desk and handy, I do it more. I am a lazy scrapper sometimes LOL! |

| I am the same, I have to leave my heat gun out to remember to use it, lol. I'm not all that experienced with embossing though, so I'd love to hear some tips too! |

| I use my heat gun a lot--usually to dry glimmer mist! I have embossing powders-- I lov ethe wya they look BUT I don't use them often enough! I love some of the new "WOW" colors and I would like to try them. I am wondering if they are different from past powders. |

| Well, hopefully you all checked out some of the WOW! projects I posted this past week on the blog and in the gallery. I have a bunch more that I am going to be posting as soon as I can. You all should check out the WOW! Blog too if you want ideas. I am excited to see that some of you are already heat embossers and that a few of you want to know more. Actually I didn't heat emboss much until I made the WOW! DT back in December. Now I heat emboss a lot!! I had tried a few other companies powders in the past before WOW! but I don't think I used them that often because I wasn't happy with the results really. Mine usually turned out blotchy and I don't know if it was because of me or the powder. The thing that really got my attention with WOW! is that they have different types of powers. They have regular, super fine, ultra high, metalline, opaque, fluorescent, earth tone, primary, puff, glitter, clear, gloss, matt, metallic, and pastel. I also love that they come in small jars and are cheap. But trust me those small jars go far!! My favorites are for sure the glitter colors. I love to emboss on chipboard, vellum, and yes used dryer sheets!! I use both stamps and stencils to get my images to emboss. A good tip to know that when you are using ultra high powerd (these are the largest particles) heat from the back (just be sure to not burn your paper!) This will keep from blowing the powder away when you apply the heat. If any of you have any questions about embossing don't hesitate to ask. You can either post it on here or you can contact me privately. I'm not a expert but I have learned a ton in the past 6 months.
