So I was driving...

and a wire from a telephone pole fell right on a car! It was crazy...she was a few cars ahead of me. I was going to get out and see if she wanted me to call 911 b/c I wasn't about to touch it...and she did! She grabbed it and moved it off her car.

Would you do that? I dont' know much about that kind of stuff. There was a accident here a month or so ago and a live wire fell on a school bus. It was raining that day, too. So the kids were fine and they drove away after they moved it but I guess a few of them got shocked when they got off the bus and made contact with the ground.

Anyway..thought it was strange that that happened again.

No actually you shouldn't touch it and never walk up and touch a vehicle that has a wire touching it. This is something they drill into us during EMT training....check first to make sure the scene is safe!! In this case it was not.

That is what I was thinking.

She got out of the car and I was screaming don't touch that! I had my phone in my hand waiting for her to go down. Crazy!

I remember reading about the bus and the live wire falling on it in the newspaper!
I saw the photo, and it looked like it was on the main road below where you turn back to your house.

Whoa, that is crazy! No, I definitely wouldn't touch it and she was crazy, too. Thank goodness it wasn't a live wire. Scary!!

I think she is very lucky-I definitely wouldn't touch it!!!

What a crazy thing to see!
