where the heck

I have been home-- a lot.. I did get some scrappy time in!
I took some fun pics last night at Ben's ALL Star baseball game...
I have to say I was really aggravated at the league president this is the 1st time that the boys didn't get "AllStar" jerseys for the game.. oh I wonder if it is because HIS kid (for the 1st time) wasn't an AllStar!?

That's so sad about your son and his team. He sure isn't a good sport is he??
I'm working on my DT post for today. It's rainy and cloudy and my daycare kiddos are grouchy! Maybe they will feel better after a nap!! We'll be headed home to get ready for our Kid's Church Swim night. I hope it clears up by then. I'm off to finish my post!!

Sry to hear that....our boys get their trophies this week. Brian said he wouldn't be surprised if some of the other team doesn't show b/c they got second.


They picked our all star team...only one kid from our team made it and four from the team we beat. Interesting and of course all the All Star coach's kids make it. Owen is all excited to try out for the All Star team next year...he was too young this year thank god.

I don't know how my parents did it when I played sports...the heartbreak and politics...

My boys never wanted to play baseball...they played football, hockey and dance(tap,jazz, hiphop) I sometimes think the parents are worse then the kiddos..its so frustrating..

Gavin is just now getting to the age of waiting to play sports. So far, we've had great experiences with Upward Football and Karate but I dread when he starts playing in the school leagues.

ugh....glad I don't have to deal with this yet. I agree-the parents seem worse than the kids from stories I have heard!!!

I'm here! For the first time in a few weeks I'm scrapping. Hooray!! Summertime with the kids sucks my creative energy dry:) It's been soo hot here-108 twice this week, that all you can do is swim or stay inside. We've been busy doing both. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

There is a baseball travel team tournament in town this weekend that Toma and Ben are helping with --they are good sports I wouldn't help with this after the bull of the way City League was treated, it's all under the same board and the pres of the city league runs the travel team.. Tom said the pres had a lot of trouble getting volunteers this year--ha GO figure!
