Almost time for BACK to SCHOOL...

Where does the time go? Are you all ready to send your munchkins back? Our first day is August 20th. That's unusually late for us. We usually start back the first week of August. It's time to start clothes shopping and supply shopping. It one of my favorite kinds of shopping though, just under scrapbook shopping!!

August 20th is early for around here. The reason I know that is because that is my birthday and we were never in school on my birthday.

My husband and I were actually just commenting on this the other day. We were in WalMart and saw the aisles of school supplies and couldn't help but start laughing with relief because we realized we no longer have to worry about any of that. Our kids are both graduated!!

we have been having such an awesome summer. sleeping in, staying up late. but i will be ready to ship owen off soon, lol!

you can tell it is time..we need new sneakers, soccer is starting so owen needs cleats. ugh...

school starts here the 20th as well. I am actually a little nervous as we just decided to put the girlio in school instead of homeschooling this year (she is going into kindergarten.) I have pretty much covered all the kindergarten material with her already (as I thought I was homeschooling), but she is in need of some social skills (i.e. sharing, working with others, etc.) so I am sure it will be good for her, but I am still nervous-this is a first for me and her!

My kiddos go back the first week of sept...after labor day.
