Feeling totally guilty!

I just went up the road to the local icecream place and got a peanutbutter cup Shiver, their version of a DQ Blizzard! It was sooo yummy, but now I feel so bad for eating that I am blaming PMS! So do you all go insane for icecream or everything and anything chocolate during this time, or what is it that makes you nutty and obsessed during that mad time of the month?

Anyway, guess I should go work on my XL Glider for awhile...

No need to feel guilty girl, enjoy a fun summer treat! And if it help the pms blahs that is just and extra plus!

I agree with Joyce, life is too short for all the guilt!!! Glad you enjoyed a yummy treat!

Oh, and yes, I can eat a pan of brownies in one night if I have PMS!!!

Yeah, I never have cravings for chocolate anymore until it is that time of month..then I'd kill to get some! Most other times I want something salty now...and life is for enjoying...so why not do it with something you like!

I am a chocolate and salt fiend when I am PMSing!

LOL!! Sounds like we are very much alike. I have to make sure I don't have brownie mix in the house toward the end of the month!

i don't have periods or pms since my hysterectomy last august. so i normally don't get cravings anymore. Yay!
Although i DID grow love handles overnight night after my surgery! seriously, they came out of no where! i think i'd rather have cravings~!

ya think?? I totally agree.....that menopause crap is exactly that, CRAP!! I do still get cravings though, but not as strong. (I think you look GREAT Carrie!)

don't feel guilty! You have to splurge once in awhile or you'd go crazy! just enjoy

Girl!! you should never feel guilty for giving in!!! My mantra is to give in to your cravings when they are that strong. I've learned the hard way - if you don't you will overeat on something else trying to fill that craving and 9 out of 10 times STILL wind up getting what you were craving after gorging on other stuff.


So I say - ENJOY your ice cream treat!!!

Yes....if you don't give in every once in a while, it can be a huge spiral down at some point!!

And when it comes to DQ, calories don't even count. I LOVE their Blizzards!! yum!! Sooooo glad we don't have one anywhere near us! LOL

i def think we need to reward ourselves every once in awhile!!!

I had the glorious surgery too! I still hear angels singing when I think about it!

Downside, I can't blame cravings on the monthly any more!

I told my daughter that her friend could spend the night if she went and got me and her dad a blizzard...and a plain cone for Maddy..she agreed..WOW PMS makes you do crazy things...

lol! I end up eating 24/7 on my special time of the month..I dont care what it is I'll eat it.... its really sad....
