confession time...

anyone ever do this as a kid???



I DID! On the Merry-Go-Round at the park across the street from my house. My mom had to come out with warm water to get my tongue unstuck from the bars, LOL!

I got a piece of ice stuck on my tongue one time and like an idiot I just pulled it off....and i still remember the pain to this day! My mom was like WHY DIDN"T YOU RUN WATER OVER IT??? I felt so stupid!

and yes I just added the cloud because it is so freaking adorable!!

hahahaha - ok can say I NEVER did that. I think watching the Christmas Movie as kid cured me from ever being curious about it.

But I have done plenty of other stupid stuff - like playing in mercury as a kid because it was so pretty. Me and a few other friends found it by the dumpster (yes we used to dumpster dive because we lived on an Air base and we used to find REALLY cool stuff from veterans in there) and it was so shiny and beady - we had to pee and poo in a cup for a month due to poisining. smart, eh?

can't say that i have. however, i've done other stupid stuff. lol!

Yup....on the flag pole at my grandmas house. I just pulled it off...I remember seeing part of my tongue left on the pole..YUCK and ouch!!

Nope but once I jumped off the roof of our garage with an umbrella...........I was 4.

Yep, broke an ankle.

I didn't do it with my tongue, but when I was about 7 I licked 3 fingers and stuck them on the bars of my swing set ... just to see if they'd stick. DUH!!!! Ended up rippin' the dang skin off 2 fingers. Pretty smart kid huh?

I guess as kids we all have to do stuff, just to see if it's true, or maybe we thought it wouldn't be the same result for us as others had!! These are funny:)

I loveeeeeeeeee that movie! The house and museum is located in Cleveland, Ohio

A Christmas Story is my favorite Christmas movie, hands down. We quote quite a few things from that movie, it's a classic!

That being said, yes I've done something stupid like that. I had an ice cube hanging from my top lip when I was a kid. "Hey, look!" And before my mom could finish her sentence and tell me not to rip it off... I ripped it off. Tore the skin right off and cried like a baby. OUCH!

Unfortunately I have to say I have done something stupid like that! I actually stuck my tongue to a metal part in the freezer....learned my lesson the hard way! So glad I'm not alone though! This thread had me cracking up at some of the funny things we've done as kids!
