A Note Frome Me

Hi girls just quickly wanted to pop in and update you on a few things.

Well you all may have noticed we have not had a kit in a few months &
I have also shared a few things happening with our extended family.

Since my Sis and my SIL both have lost there homes due to the economy
it has left Damien & I in an impossible situation. Most of you know my niece
Mercedes moved in with us & currently we are financially helping my SIL get back
on her feet as well as helping with her 2 boys.

So I had to compromise something for time & the decision although hard
was to let go of the kits.

This by no means, means that I am shutting down FTLOA !!!!!

I am currently looking for a DT (make sure to send us your app!)
and my goal is to keep the store well stocked that the kits are not
as necessary.

By eliminating the kits it gives me more time to focus on other things as
well as takes the pressure of deadlines off of me.

I am super excited now to have the time to focus on re-working the
gallery and other areas in the store.

I still plan on manufacturing Pattern Paper & STAMPS but instead of every month
I plan on just taking it a bit easier and winging it as I go :' )
So I am thinking may 3-4 sets this year and more if I can find the time.


So I really hope that you choose to remain a vital part of this community !!!!

I really do count myself Blessed with all the Friendships I have made here !!!!!

Norma, thanks so much for sharing with us....so sorry to hear about the hardships going on but like someone said, family always comes first! Kit or no kit, we're not going anywhere! After all, it's not the kits that keeps us here, it's this awesome community! Take all the time you need!

My family and Anthony's family have seen first hand the effects of the economy! I am so glad that you are keeping the store going though! Although i love your kits, i think you MUST do what is right for you and your family at this point in your life. I feel the exact same way. I wish you all the luck with helping your family out. I know it can be stressful and hard, but you and Damien are so kind to do this! So very inspiring to others!!

I too am a newbie and didn't realize you had a monthly kit. Bless your heart for helping out family. Bets of luck to you and your family, hoping they can back on track soon.

I can fully understand what the economy has done, since my husband has been laid off too & I do not work outside the home - yet we are one of the fortunate ones that planned for this event as best we could & we're doing ok.

Bless your heart for doing, & being able to do what you are doing for your family! We're just glad you're still here with us too!!
