| I know this may sound bad but I've started throwing mine away unless it's at least a half sheet. I realized that I just never get back around to using them and got tired of trying to find ways to organize them all. So for now the scraps I DO have are just in a clear 12x12 paper bin. Not much help am I? | |

Not much help am I? That's me too! I used to be more organized about it, but I didn't keep up with it!

| I have Maya Road tins for the little scraps/die cuts - and a large pink bin for my larger paper scraps. I've been known to toss some scraps...I don't often make cards, but, I always hang on to die cuts! | |

| At one time I followed a suggestion from Patter Cross (Triple the Scraps) and she has some great suggestions. I had them all in file folders, but it got to be too much time for me, so now I have two shoe box clear containers -- one for PP and one for CS.

| I use an A-Z expanding file folder form the office supply store. So I have 26 slots and I put a different color in each one. Cardstock in the back. It's easy to grab and move around and it expands the more you add to it. I've used the same one for 3+ years and it's still working for me. | |

| This is how I organize my scraps and alphas... For me, this has been the best solution. I just pull out the folder I need and can easily get to any shade of the scrap instantly. Plus, it is so easy and quick to put scraps away. I even have a "girly" folder, and a "masculine/neutral" folder for patterned papers. I purchased the containers @ Target; they are the perfect size for file folders and my 12" long scraps fit in perfectly! | |

| I cut all of my scraps into specific sizes:
6 x 6 (good for minis) 5 x 7 4.25 x 5.5 (card front size) 2.5 x 3.5 (ATC size)
I love having all my scraps the same size. I store them in bins and just flip through them when I need something. I find I really use them a lot more this way.

| Oh Lori, I'm liking your idea. I could do that while watching TV .... my whole two shows a week and my Saturday night movie night. | |

I love it. Before this my scraps were all different sizes and I didn't like fighting with them. I use mine so much now, they're organized and right at my fingertips. When I get behind on my slicing and dicing, I just do it while I'm watching TV, like Suzy mentioned. I'm going to a crop next weekend and I'm bringing my scraps to cut while I'm jabbering.
