Self Portraits

Don't you just love the way teenagers turn their cameras/iphones etc around and take self portraits of themselves?? - not the fanciest of techniques but sometimes they get some lovely shots.....like this cute photo of my daughter ( the blonde! ) and her cousin at a toga party.




Does anyone else have some clever "self portraits" they would like to share?

awww - cute family shot Miranda....I should try that - I'm never in the photo 'cos I'm usually the one behind the camera.

my FB page profile is one my daughter did with both of us in it. I have tried with not much success. She has two folders full of this- she finds it entertaining her alone and her and her friends. So I do plan to use them in layouts too, some or a bit blurry but other look pretty good.

i hardly ever get self portraits with the camera held in front of me because my camera is so darn heavy ... last time i tried to get a pic that way i almost dropped the silly thing.

seems like the only self portraits i get is through a mirror....here's a fun one i took in a huge beautiful bathroom in a hotel hubby and i were staying at.

you're right .. my profile pic was taken in my downstairs bathroom.

That's what I did here (new avatar pic) I figured I'm the only one who ever takes photos in our family, and if I was ever going to get a current photo, I'd have to take it myself - lol!

Great photo Tracy! I can never take pics of myself like those teenagers do! I have tried and tried with my point and shoot and always end up cutting someone's head off! I don't know how they do it!

Carrie, that shot of you in that hotel restroom is gorgeous! Who would have thought that a restroom photo could be so elegant! Maybe it's just the subject in the photo! Very nice!

that mirror was HUGE! i took another one that shows the actual huge mirror .. i'll have to post it to show you guys the size of that thing!
