| eeeeek!!! i remember seeing snakes when mowing the yard as a teenager ... it was a push mower .. when i'd see those snakes i'd literally pick up the mower by the handle and bang it on the snake .. kinda gross, but that was my first "OH MY GOSH" reflex reaction. | |

I did too. Also, when I was a teenager, my grandpa was a farmer so he used us grandkids as his laborers to build fence and hoe cotton. I can't even count the times I've had to kill rattle snakes with just my hoe or shovel. nasty little slimy creatures

When we were camping last July we came across a copperhead. My husband his best friend were all interested and wanting a closer look...I was running. The kids were somewhere. I can't recall. BAHAHA. No, seriously, the girls and I took off!

No, seriously, the girls and I took off! This made me LOL....that sounds like something I would do but it would be my husband running with the kids! bwahahahaha - I don't like snakes but I don't fear them as much as I do spiders. Weird? yes....LOL -- although I do have to say - I will not mess with copperheads. They are much more vicious than rattlers and have a bigger striking distance. So I may be running right alongside everyone else! hahahahah
