NSD - Challenges and Prizes

Hi Digi Scrappers - Welcome to (inter)National Scrapbook Day here at FTLOA - yes! we are a multi-cultural group with lots of different countries being represented on our forum - and with almost half the day gone here in Australia it is time to begin the fun and festivities of NSD.

In honour of the day the wonderful Norma Kennedy has created this gorgeous Digital Kit to "giveaway" to everyone who completes all 6 of today's challenges - awesome hey?!



So let's get started!! - Here is a list of the 6 tasks we would like you to complete today ( or throughout the weekend ) - you may combine some of them into the same layout/project - however, you MUST create a minimum of 3 layouts and they all NEED to be uploaded to the gallery.

1). Create a Digi Layout with 4 or more photos.
2). Scraplift your favourite Digi Layout from the FTLOA Gallery
3). Create a Digi Layout/Hybrid Project that combines the following 3 shapes - Circle, Square, Star
4). Create a Digi Layout/Hybrid Project using a minimum of 3 kits sold in the FTLOA shop
5). Show us your Journalling Skills - create a layout that includes a Title, Date, and a paragraph of text
6). Add some "Bling" to your Digi Creation - glitter, diamonds, pearls etc

How awesome for all the digi fanatics! I think that Kit of Norma's is beautiful and I love the colors!

The pictures were taken obviously by my daughter LOL We have 100's of these, she cracks me up.

This is for the NSD digi challenge. This is layout #2 it fulfills the Create a layout using 3 kits for the FTLOA store and it has a circle (center of the sun), Square (Scalloped square) and star on photo.

I used the Graphic Click paper set- moment captured
Dear Sweet Friend kit- Paper 9 and lots of embellishments
Also Hope for a brighter future kit

Can you see the steam coming off the pool, and our lifeguards attire LOL This is a June day...

...you are sure rockin' these NSD Challenges Kristen - what a great combo of kits! - love your use of the required shapes - and the lifeguard's uniform made me giggle

...well we are a day ahead of you here in Australia - and it is Mother's Day - my girls have spoilt me but also allowed me to have some uninterrupted Digi Play

So here is layout I completed with the beautiful Blossom Mini Kit - designed by Norma Kennedy

Thanks Norma, I am proud of myself I have never completed any type of layouts for any online crops. So doing these three made me feel like I accomplished something creative this weekend.

Ah Kristen - you have really had fun with the challenges - thanks so much for participating - I LOVE the denim background - all the little embellishments especially the "sneakers" and fab job on the title/journalling.

6). Add some "Bling" to your Digi Creation - glitter, diamonds, pearls etc

Still have to do 4 tasks, LOL. Let me see what I can do, hahahaha.

3). Create a Digi Layout/Hybrid Project that combines the following 3 shapes - Circle, Square, Star
4). Create a Digi Layout/Hybrid Project using a minimum of 3 kits sold in the FTLOA shop (done, I used Amy Teets Midterm2 papers, Whoo Me staples, Little Feet Digital Designs Dear Sweet Friend, King of my Heart, NIce or Naughty and New Perspective Frames, I had a blast using all of these!!!)
5). Show us your Journalling Skills - create a layout that includes a Title, Date, and a paragraph of text (done on my 1st layout)
6). Add some "Bling" to your Digi Creation - glitter, diamonds, pearls etc

So now I still have to do Circle, Square, Star and add some bling. Oh my this is gonna be hard!!!!
