Does any one still photograph with film?
Do you still own a film camera?

What do you currently photograph with?

I started getting into photography when my first son was born almost 12years ago. Damien bought me a film Nikon SLR 80 and I fell in love with photography.

I still have it but never use it any more. It makes the rounds it seems for film class between all my friends kids and now Mercedes will use it for her film class starting this fall.

I currently use a Cannon EOS 40D but I do miss film.

bwahahahaha -Norma - we must have been posting at the same time!

Anyway - I LOVE film photography. As a matter of fact, it's what got me into photography. In high school I took photography AND yearbook and my favorite part of the class was going in to the dark room and developing my film.

HOWEVER, now that I've stepped in the digital realm - I don't think I could go back unless I could afford to have my own darkroom. But then again - the cost to develop film anymore or even BUY film would probably deter me. Not to mention the time it takes.

So - digital all the way for me now. The convenience outweighs it all.

I have a nikon D80. I love it! i would love to learn more and get another lens. I can't seem to find the time and the extra $$ for a class.

I've never had a nice film camera only a cheapo one and I hated it.

I took film photography in high school. It was alot of work. I know of photographers that do both, but it is quite costly now.

I have my old rebel the sensor is going, but when I use AV or TV mode the shots seem to be fine.

I figure I will see if I can get a new lens and then upgrade maybe in by Christmas 2012

I still have a film Nikon, but haven't used it in years! We even had all the dark room equipment, from my days working in advertising, but recently tossed it on our last move. Just too complicated in this digital age! Still, photography was my favorite class in college! (That and bowling, lol!)

I've always loved photography, and while I have sentimental feelings toward my old film cameras, I haven't used them in years. I have a point & shoot digital Nikon that I keep in my purse and a digital Canon Rebel (that uses the zoom lenses from my fiilm Rebel) that is my "good" camera. I love being able to see photos right away, and have the chance to retake a shot if it didn't come out right the first time.

I've always loved photography. I still have my Canon film camera that I remember being so happy about. I loved it...it took such great pictures.

But then the digital cams came on the scene and it's just so much more enjoyable to see the pics right away instead of waiting a few days for that roll to be developed only to be disappointed because that perfect shot didn't turn out.

Yeah, I'm sticking with digital! I love my Canon 50D! I also have a point and shoot in my purse and then of course, my iPhone that I'm using more and more for regular everyday photos.

I never had a nice film camera. I bought my first nice camera (a dslr) in 2003. I would have loved to have a nice film camera, but I always had inexpensive film cameras.
