Question about the Digi Freebie Kit - Joy. How do YOU use it?

I know it was technically a hybrid challenge, but how do each of you use kits like these for cards? I personally just printed out the adorable kit onto white cardstock, and then just literally cut and pasted. Do any of you make your card totally digital with this kit? Just trying to figure out if I did it the archaic way (lol!) and how you guys use it! Thanks!

Well Tracy, I would use it exactly as you did for a hybrid challenge. Print the kit and then cut out each piece and use it as a separate element on my card!

This particular kit was only saved as a "Hybrid" kit.

Which means it is only available in Printable file formats such as
PDF & JPEGS.

So what does this mean?
Well in most digital kits the individual images are saved as "PNG"
images. A PNG file usually has a transparent back ground which allows the image to be editable & you can drag the individual image.

In the case of the hybrid (PDF & JPEGS)... what you see is what you get. You print and can physically cut out the individual images to create something amazing :' )

Ah, okay... So in other words, you can't do digital scrapbooking with this kit, like in PhotoShop? I was wondering about that... Thanks for answering my question, Ladies! Digi stuff is totally foreign to me, ha! (I do want to remedy that one day, though! I think I'd be a much better digi-scrapper, and I wouldn't have so much STUFF, lol!)

Well, let me forewarn you Tracy! I thought the same thing but I ended up really missing my actual paper scrapping. I loved the digital side too and so I ended up now spending money on both! lol I could never give up my actual paper scrapping but I do love what I learned in digi scrapping. It helped tremendously with my blog design and so many areas other than just digi scrapping!
