I love coffee too, but I am detoxing for a month, so no sugar, and if I can't use sugar and cream I don't want it.
I do eat protein bars for snacks here and there. I was freaked out by sugars and wasn't sure which kinds were best and I found a guru of health that shared that our percentages of sugars and carbs should be a tad lower than our overall protein and fat ratio which may mean nothing to those who don't log their foods, but some naturally do this without knowing.
SOO, when it comes to bars we should get ones that have the same amount of sugar or less than the protein in the bar, otherwise its like a candy bar.
I found Clif BUILDER bars and Power Proetin Plus bars they are very high in protein 20g and the sugars are 20g but it cancels out because many are eating more protein than sugars throughout the day.
Just thought I would share, because I found that so exciting and finally get which ones to have.
