Just a couple of thoughts from the peanut gallery (me.) As you know, I love challenges but in my humble opinion, a daily challenge is way too much. It seems we had more participation, when we had a weekly challenge. I know for me, personally, it feels overwhelming to try to do 15-24 challenges per month. I'm not trying to speak for everyone else, but I've noticed that participation is sparse. Just wondered if you've given it any thought and would consider going back to weekly challenges.

IMHO...I love the daily challenges as inspiration but it's impossible for me to do a daily challenge.

Kudos to the DT, they are doing an awesome job at getting the challenges out there and keeping conversation going on the board.

Of course, I love our DT and their inspiration, they're the best!!

To clarify... I just think we would have more participation if people did not need to complete 15-24 challenges to qualify for a prize/GC. I feel the carrot is unattainable, kwim? I just thought if we could have a weekly challenge and you participate in them, you would have a CHANCE to win a small GC. I obviously love challenges but I enjoy them so much more when everyone is playing along.

Sherry, we really appreciate your voice and speaking up. I think that's what makes this forum so wonderful is that you feel comfortable enough to share how you really feel without being afraid someone's going to get their feelings hurt or get upset with you.

I think you bring up some valid points and I'm sure Norma and the rest of the team will take your suggestions to heart and maybe look at how we might make it better.

I agree Sherry--I am much more likely to complete a weekly challenge than a daily one.

I guess it's up to Norma and the team. For me I do at least 3 layouts a week and I thought most of us did here so that is 12 layouts month at a minimum and adding a few more in there would give you 15. Of course, some weeks are none and and some are more.

The thing is, we really didn't get that much participation in the weekly ones. So that is why we changed it to give you more chances to earn stuff.

Thanks for responding, Ellen! I was just thinking out loud, wondering if we only had weekly challenges, would we perhaps have more participation, that's all. Thanks for everything you do!
