Big *sigh*

Dang when it rains it pours. I was just whining to my mom last night that I feel that we've had some HUGE expenses this year with the baby, both vehicles needing transmission work, traveling sports, day to day stuff and now my home computer has CRASHED. I took it yesterday to see about fixing it and the hard drive won't even turn. So I've just lost EVERYTHING on it. Unless I want to spend $1400 to have it sent off to see about a level 4 recovery? oye vey. We opted out of that but now we have to buy a new computer. Right before the holidays too. I swear we can't catch a break this year.

Maybe next year will be our year......... but I swear we just have this dark cloud hanging over us right now.

I'm sorry, Renee. I hope that dark cloud moves away quickly!

Oh Renee, I'm so sorry to hear about that! Computer problems are the worst too! Keep your chin up....it will get better!

It does seem like troubles come in a bunch at times. Hang in there - things have got to turn around!

I hear you girl and I understand how you are feeling big time !!!!!!!!!

We had to have major truck work done, my washing machine went out,
my computer died about 4 months ago and now we just a pipe burst
in our basement.

I sure hope you can find a reasonable computer to purchase. I remember
we also got a quote to fix ours and it was significantly more than buying
a new one. So what I did was purchased a separate hard drive paid just
a little bit for best buy to recover the info and transfer it to the hard drive.

Thanks ladies - It will be ok just sucks that it's all happening at once. But I guess the bright side is once we have everything replaced - SURELY we will be good for at least a year or two! bwahahahaha

And Norma - when you had Best Buy transfer the data to your new hard drive - how much did they charge you? They are telling me it's going to be between $750 to $1400 to do that............

Oh, so sorry Renee! I hope your computer problems are remedied soon! At least you're getting it all over with in 2011. 2012 will be fabulous with all your new/fixed things!! Hang in there!

awww, hang in there girl. seems like it DOES pour down all at once for some reason. but that price for the hard drive transfer things sounds awfully inflated!! just last year I had a local computer place get all my photos and music off my dead computer and I didn't pay more than $80.
