| Ok girls!! I have very fair skin. I used to lay in the tanning bed to get a little color, but for lack of time, I want to try a self tanner. What have you all tried and give me your opinions?? I just tried Arbonne's self tanner, but I don't like the smell and I feel all greasy. I want something that smells good and doesn't leave you feeling icky or looking orange!! | |

| I use the jergens (sp?) lotion (not foam). They have a sperate one for body and one for face. It also comes in different levels (light-medium & medium-dark) so you can gradually go darker. It does have a bit of a smell but not as bad or as strong as some of the other ones I have tried. Also I have never had any trouble with it turning anything orangeish.
I actually got a spray tan on friday to give me some color before the race on Saturday but not really sure if I will do that again. It was the first time I had ever done it and I had them set it to medium. It seemed pretty complicated when they were going through the directions but really it wasn't. You just have to make sure you get the blocker cream applied correctly. I just have issues with small spaces, couldn't see well, and had trouble breathing cause you have to put plugs up your nose and obviously you need to keep your mouth shut. They just don't last very long, typically only 5-7 days. The lotion lasts much longer but you have to use it consistantly and for several days leading up. I just waiting to long that is why I did the spray tan.

| sorry no info from me I am a blond and white pale skin. Last year when we went to a wedding and I needed my legs to not look so white I used the sally hansen spray on for legs--that was pretty neat--it didn't come off on anything and it took about a week to wash off--then I had to MAKE it was off with a loofa!! | |

| Two words... TAN TOWEL. I love this product! You can get it through the home shopping channel (I buy it online from them). It's application is pretty much the same as other tanning products, but I love the results. No orangy effects!

| I'm a TAN TOWEL fanatic too! I have very fair skin and burn like a lobster in the sun so I always look pale white! I use the tan towels because they don't turn orange on me. They're almost like a handi wipe in a foil pack. You just tear one open and apply it. They come in 1/2 body size which is for just arms, neck, etc or full body size if you want to do it all!
Don't let the little white towel fool you though....it does tan you after an a bit so make sure you wash your hands afterwards. I underestimated them and walked around with brown hands for a few days! LOL

| Tan Towel??? How cool! Looking now, LOL!
I was going to do a spray tan for AR but I might get one of those towels. I get tan easy so I only need a little start when I am feeling pale like right now.

| No Elisha, not at all. It really is like wiping yourself with a wet nap. Like Sheri says though, make sure to wash your hands afterward! Also, when you put it over the back of your arms, I find it better to bend your elbows and wipe the towel across rather then have your arm out straight. Not that I had a bad experience, but I think doing it this way makes for less chance of uneven color on your elbows. | |

| It's not greasy at all. It's like wearing nothing really. After you apply it with the towel, it dries quickly. I would apply it then allow some time before you put clothing on just to be sure. | |

| YES YES YES!!!! The tan towel is easy, quick, and works well. Plus, with the added bronzer you can easily see where you have already applied it! | |
