Ugh...

Tomorrow is Monday. Not looking forward to it but it is one day closer to vacation!

I really need to clean the floors...anyone want to help?

Mondays are usually my quiet/housework day. Kids are gone to school, and I don't have to work. Today however, I am giving myself a total RR day. There has been so much craziness around here lately, I need a day to just veg. I'm watching movies, reading, web surfing and RELAXING.

This is the kid's first day back to school from Spring Break. I have got to sleep in two weeks in a row so it was hard getting up this morning!! I'm ready for summer!

I was just thinking about doing that too Shannon! I need to do "stuff" but I just want a day to scrap and relax...hmmm have to think about that!

Oh Mondays.... my boys are on spring break but daughter isn't--she is in college so her sb was the 1st week of March.
Not much going on here- I need to take the boys for hair cuts.
AND I would like to spend some time in my scrappy space.

I just dropped the hubby at the airport, so I am working on doing some fun stuff with the kiddos to make the week pass faster for them! So far, we picked up donuts on the way home, and I think we will be doing some Easter crafts later.

I am hoping to use this week to get caught up on Project Life. I have the pictures printed and my notes, so maybe after they go to bed I can put together a week each night (yes, I really am that behind!)

My plan was to have an RR day yesterday (Sunday) but it didn't happen of course. I ended up doing some housework, buisness paperwork, and walking around the woods for about 3 hours with my husband. We took down one of our deer feeders and scouted some areas for stand locations. It was great being out there, just the two of us, but since we were both sore from our workouts this week it made it a little bit of a challenge. Plus some areas are still really flooded and so that made it even harder walking. At one point we thought we could get across the creek without it coming up over our knee high muck boots, but we were wrong and we both ended up soaked from about mid-thigh down. And boy was that water COLD!!

But I am excited cause its only a four day work week so hopefully it will go by fast and then I can get some quality scrappy time in over the three day weekend!!

Monday was the start of our oldest two childrens Spring Break. YAY!!!! Have not slept in yet....but I know it will happen at some point this week

We went yesterday to my arm surgeon, and after 10 weeks, he took my arm out of the cast. After surgery, I went from a full arm splint to a full arm cast, and then to a short arm cast. I cannot even tell you how excited I was to get home and take a shower and be able to scrub my arm. Yes, little things make me happy!!

I bet that felt great! It's those little things we never think of until we can't do them anymore... I would be happy too!

Glad you had a relaxing day Shannon. My kids are on SB this week and next. I have my nephews (5 & 7) here too. Just as soon as they go back to school I am taking a day to just relax. I LOVE having them home but will be sooo ready to return to the normal routine by the end of the break.
