| Speaking of twine.... Is there a difference between the brands? Until recently you didn't have much choice, but now it seems like everyone is coming out with their own line. Devine Twine, The Twinery, May Arts, Maya Road, WRMK, and list goes on and on.
Just curious what everyone thinks and who your favorite brand is.

Just curious what everyone thinks and who your favorite brand is. I have some Divine Twine and like it, but the colors are more muted, which is why I am trying The Twinery for the first time-I like bright colors! I really liked the purple and gray as far as muted colors go though. I don't care for WRMK, Pink Paislee had some that was cute, but it just unraveled SO easily, and was kind of waxy. I have some MME, and I like the colors and they match the lines really well, but it is pretty thick and a little stiff. It also unravels just a bit on the ends. Doodlebug is cute, great colors, and works well, and I like that it is not super thick. Martha Stewart is thinner, and has more white than color (as compared to other lines), but I do use the red and white quite a bit. I think it really depends on your preference for thickness, and ratio of white to color. I like more color than white (or an even ratio), bright colors, and not super thick as it makes it harder to wrap around cards and tie into bows, so I would say so far Divine Twine and Doodlebug are my favorites. I am very interested in trying The Twinery though, so we will see when it gets here! Can you tell I use twine just a bit?

| I def think the Twiner is much brighter and it's softer. May Arts is much more muted and "rougher" like it's not as much cotton or something.
I tend to use the muted colors more. I am loving the May Arts! I like all of them really...so it's a matter of price I think. Some of it's expensive for just small little rolls.

| Well, I'm a fan of The Twinery! I was on their design team last term but I have to say, they have the best colors. I love it all. They have such a wide variety of colors and they are beautiful! Here's what I am lucky enough to have in my stash. Anyone want to come play? | |
