Downloading

How often do you download your pics off your camera to your computer--Do back them up?

I download after every event so I don't store a lot of pics on my camera for long periods of time. I do back them up on a disc. Sadly that only happens maybe once a year and it's time to get them backed up!!

I download within a day or two of taking them, but I am TERRIBLE for backing things up. I am almost afraid to answer this post and jinx myself!

i am the same ...my husband puts them on an extermnal hard drive about twice a year ...

I download after each time I take pics.. my computer does and auto back-up to an external hd and I burn dvds of all pics I want to keep 1x/month. I have been burned by an external hd crashing so now I have my pics i 2 places besides on the computer--as I am done with them on the computer I clean them off.

I am horrible at this. I tend to leave pictures on my camera forever and I don't remember the last time I burned the pictures to a disk. I have asked (birthday, christmas, mothers day) several times for an external HD so I can do this but for some reason I never seem to get it. Guess I am just going to have to buy one myself.
