Movie Theater Shooting

Did you hear about the shooting in Colorado at the movie theater? Twelve died, and almost 60 wounded. So sad. They are STILL clearing out explosive devices, etc. from the guy's apartment. Seems like too much bad stuff is happening in our state these days.

I had to turn it off. I couldn't watch it anymore.

I mean...you (and your kids) aren't just safe anywhere anymore. It is just awful.

Lots of horrible things have been happening everywhere. Its sad. It such a different world then when i grew up..

You are so right. It is a different world. So sad. I read he is they are pulling the insanity card. He was supposedly even doozing off in court. Just crazy!!

He does look crazy in the pictures, but how convenient that his hair is dyed a crazy red all the sudden, and he looks out of it, etc. He obviously wasn't out of it when he booby-trapped his apartment! Seems like a pretty intelligent person to me. I am sure that is the only defense they could come up with-how else could they explain such a senseless act of violence?

This has been a tough one of us and many people we know. My husband and I worked for many years (he 18 and me 11), still plays poker with him regularly, and are still really good friends with, that his step-daughter was shot (in leg, not serious) in the theater. And her boyfriend was killed when he and her brother tried to shield her. If you read about each of the victims I am sure you know who I am talking about. They just had Matt's funeral this past weekend here back in Springfield. So sad!!
