We are back from vacation and school starts NEXT week!!

Who else is staring school?

We don't start school here in buffalo, NY until after labor day ..they start sept 5th..

We used to live is Sanborn, NY..you have NO idea how much better it is to start school in September than in August!

i bet! it would be nice to do it after labor day


we start the 27th...i am sad for summer being almost gone but excited for owen to go back to school. he likes it...he needs the social aspect of it. that kid needs to be around ppl! LOL!

We are getting ready to start school on Monday. Tonight is open house. We go meet the teacher and drop off school supplies. The kids are really excited. Carley starts Middle School this year so I'm a little sad. Time flies so fast. This will also be Gavin's first year without Carley. He is going into 1st grade at the Elementary School. He has never been without her and they are really close so I'm a little worried about him. He still doesn't believe she's not going to be at the Elementary School but it should become more real to him tonight when we go and meet her teacher. I'm ready for school to start, too, I'm dreading it a little cause it will be so busy with all the extra practices and homework and getting up earlier to get the day started!! I know it'll be good once we get back into routine.
We're also getting ready for my SIL's wedding next Friday night. Everything is busy, busy, busy!! I'm ready for another vacation...lol!!

School starts in 2 weeks here and sports practices have already started so that is keeping us really busy! My crafty time dwindles in the summer so I'm looking forward to the routine of fall and some more crafty time!

my daughter started kindergarten yesterday. can't believe it is all day-that seems like so much for a five year old! at least this first week they split the class in two and half are coming mon./wed., and the other half tues./thurs. so they can get used to things. and then, there is already a day off on Friday. seems weird to already have a day off the first week???

I am thankful she really likes school though. I was a little worried!
